Most custom membrane switches, graphic overlays and silicone keypads start from 100 pieces. Prototype and engineering samples are available before mass production.

Which design files do you need to quote a membrane switch?

Please send a 2D drawing (DXF, DWG, AI or PDF), artwork with Pantone references, the layer stack-up if available, connector type and pitch, and environmental requirements such as IP rating or operating temperature.

Can AXRU build waterproof membrane keypads?

Yes. With perimeter-sealed adhesives, embossed polyester overlays and sealed tail exits we build keypads designed to IP65 and above, verified with our temperature and humidity programmable chamber.

What backlighting options are available?

We integrate SMD LEDs, light guide film (LGF) and fibre-optic or EL backlighting, with dead-front windows and transparent LED windows printed on the graphic overlay.

How is quality controlled before shipment?

Every finished keypad receives 100% electrical inspection. Batches are sampled on our key life tester, automatic force and displacement tester, tensile tester, ink decolorization tester and yellowing resistance tester.
